A Different Type of Destin, Florida Vacation

Camp Gulf Destin, Florida is one of the vacation grounds I have ever stayed at. It is technically in Miramar Beach, but it is in an area most call Destin and anyone that is not a local probably thinks it is Destin. While most stretches of Destin’s beaches are lined with condos, luxury homes, and eateries, Camp Gulf’s stretch of sugar white beach is the exception.

At Camp Gulf, you can enjoy the Emerald Coast of Florida in a whole new way, and you have options.  Here you can park an RV, rent a cabin, or rent a beach house.  Lodging can be affordable or luxurious.

What I like most about Camp Gulf are its great amenities. It offers several beach front site accommodations where you can get great views of the Gulf of Mexico and also enjoy the refreshing beach breeze.  There is plenty to do here.  My favorite part was their two solar powered pools. Available games include basketball, puzzles, bean bag toss, dominoes, board games, video games, and Xbox, but I enjoyed the shuffleboard the most.  You can also enjoy the fun and thrills of water slides.  There is WiFi on location so you can keep your friends updated as you enjoy yourself on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Yolo boards, pedal carts, Segway, wagons, golf carts and beach carts are also available for rent on location.  They also have a reasonable fee for boat storage so you can bring your boat with you.
