Barktoberfest Beach Bash brings the dogs out

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Hook’d Pier Bar and Grill, 16201 Front Beach Road, hosted the Barktoberfest Beach Bash on Oct. 21 with a special “Furry Hooks” menu for dogs, as well as corn dogs and hush puppies for humans. The dog-friendly fundraiser, which benefitted Bay Families with Dogs and Heartland Rescue Ranch, also featured contests for best doggie costume, best dog trick, doggie ice cream eating and owner/dog lookalike.
